Passport Information

Every student MUST have a valid passport to enter/exit both Peru and the United States. Peru requires that your passport be valid for more than 6 months after your return date. Your passport must be valid through January 1, 2013 to be used for this trip.

It is also very important that you start this process as soon as possible. Wonder Treks needs your student's passport number to make many reservations in Peru as well as purchase both international and in-country plane tickets.

The U.S. Department of State requires in person applications for minors. Many large U.S. Postal Offices offer this type of service, contact your local post office to inquire.

The application and directions for applying for a minors passport can be found at the U.S. Department of State website at http://travel.state.gov/passport/get/minors/minors_834.html

Contact the National Passport Information Center to make an appointment or locate a Passport Agency.
